Self drilling hex head screw with a 5 series drill point (aka series 500) for drilling through up to 12mm mild steel in metal brackets, components, steel sections and assemblies.

The flanged hex head lends to high pull-out strength. Available in both class 4 galvanised finish and stainless steel variants making them perfect for internal, external and high corrosion affected applications. ICCONS 5 series (series 500) self drilling hex head screw has a hardened steel point, and fine thread enabling the screw to drill and tap its own thread, without the need to pre-drill (please see screw self drilling capacities).

SLEEVE ANCHOR HEX HEAD – 6.5MM DRILL DIAMETER
The Standard Hex Head Sleeve Anchor is a medium duty pre-assembled torque controlled expansion anchor consisting of a threaded plow bolt and a pressed carbon steel sleeve designed to expand when cone is tightened locking the sleeve against the wall of the hole. 1. Volume Control: Factory pre-measured components guarantee the correct composition and volume of components. After Installation of the rod, the overflow of anchor components provides a visual confirmation of a 100% filled hole.
2. Resin Check: The transparent glass capsule allows the installer to check the quality of the resin. Usability is given when the resin runs easily inside the capsule at lukewarm temperature.
3. Auto Clean: During the installation of the anchor rod the quartz and glass components of the capsule scrape the wall of the pre-drilled hole, removing drill dust.
